Big Wick Energy

• Before you burn, remember to trim your wick. A trimmed wick will give you a nice bright and clean flame. We recommend keeping your wick trimmed at ¼ inch above the wax. Trimming your wick before each use will help your candle burn clean, efficiently and avoid tunneling. It will also help prevent mushrooming which can lead to excess soot on your vessel and in your home.

• When lighting your candle for the first time, allow it to burn until the entire surface of wax has melted. Coconut Soy wax has a memory, and by allowing your wax to burn evenly you’ll allow for a clean and even burn throughout preventing tunneling and memory rings. This also prolongs the life of your Natiive Moon candle. 
• We recommend to keep your burn for 3 to 4 hours at a time. Never power burn your candle. Once your candle has ½ inch of wax left in your glass vessel, it’s time to retire it, clean out your wax, recycle or reuse. For inspiration on reusing your glass vessel please visit our sustainable page.

Stay Lit (Responsibly)

• Never leave your candle unattended. Burn within sight
• Keep candles out of reach from children and pets
• Burn candles on heat safe surfaces and distanced from flammable items
• Keep lit candles away from drafts such as open windows, air conditioners, vents, fans, etc.
